In preparation for the 40th anniversary celebration of Farmfair International in 2013, we served up all things Barbeque – Alberta Style! If you like hot and spicy with a hint of smoke, then you would love the Northlands Long and Slow BBQ Demo that took place on Saturday, Nov,.10, 2012. Eight BBQ Championship Teams from Alberta and Saskatchewan battled it out in a one-day, three meat contest for bragging rights and the best BBQ trophy. Who can cook the best chicken thighs, pork ribs, beef briskets in each of the four categories? See below for results!
