Northlands Heavy Horse Pull Competition

Northlands is pleased to announce the return of the audience favourite Heavy Horse Pulls. Come out and watch as the extreme power and strength of the oldest farmhand out there is showcased.

Teams of two horses will hook to a weight filled stone boat and pull it across the arena. The weights are increased at each round. Some of the top teams will pull up to three times their own weight.

Prior to the Heavy Horse Pull, potential team sponsors have the opportunity to bid on the teams. This year, Northlands, with the help of team sponsors, will be donating 10 per cent of the auction proceeds to 4-H Foundation of Alberta

In addition, team sponsors will receive sponsor recognition of the big screen during the pulls, recognition on Farmfair.ca, a mention by the announcer during the pull, tickets to the Tuesday night performance of the Heritage Ranch Rodeo, a photo of the team and an invitation to the exclusive sponsor reception during the auction.
